Budget and Accounting

The budgetary and accounting missions of the Budget and Finance Directorate-General of the Ministry of the French Community (CFB) are distributed among its various departments.

The Budget Department is responsible for elaborating, monitoring and executing the budget. As part of its missions, it produces the initial and adjusted annual budgets, as well as other documents and data of interest for its institutional partners and citizens.

The General Accounting and Management Control Department works on general accounting elements, including the balance sheet and income statement of the Ministry of the French Community of Belgium.

Each year, the departments work closely together to draw up the General Account, which consists of a set of budgetary and accounting documents.
